This hummus recipe is made with peanut butter rather than tahini. We are also using garlic, parsley and lemon juice to enhance the flavor of the garbanzo beans and give the hummus a fantastic flavor.

Ingredients

2 cups (400g) cooked or drained canned garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
1⁄4 cup (60ml) fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1⁄3 cup (85g) creamy peanut butter
2 halved garlic cloves
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
1/8 teaspoon ground paprika
Instructions
Put the garbanzo beans, lemon juice, salt, peanut butter and garlic in a food processor or blender.
Puree until you have a smooth mixture.
Drizzle olive oil on top and sprinkle on parsley and paprika before serving.
