Grilled Sweet Potato Wedges
Take sweet potatoes and season them with a zesty steak rub, then grill them until they’re perfectly tender. To top it all off, drizzle on a delicious homemade dressing made with garlic and chipotle, giving it a fantastic south-of-the-border twist.

- 4 medium sweet potatoes, cut lengthwise into wedges
- 2 unpeeled garlic cloves
- 1 cup (250ml) mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons steak seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chipotle chili in adobo, finely chopped
- Preheat the grill (BBQ) to medium hot.
- Wrap the garlic in foil and grill for about 12 minutes, turning once. Peel the cloves and smash them. Mix the garlic with the chipotle and mayo in a bowl.
- Rub the sweet potatoes with oil and then sprinkle on the steak seasoning.
- Grill the potato wedges for about 8 minutes or until golden brown and tender, flipping once.
- Now you can serve the sweet potato wedges with the spicy garlic mayo.
