1 egg
1/4 chopped small yellow onion
1/2 cup (45g) seasoned dry breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
Drain the salmon well.
Combine the drained salmon with the egg, onion and breadcrumbs.
Add any of the optional ingredients you want to use.
You can either mash the ingredients together by hand or use a food processor.
If the mixture is too dry, you can add some of the liquid you drained out of the salmon or a little mayonnaise.
If it is too wet, you can add more breadcrumbs.
Shape 4 patties.
At this point you can chill them in the refrigerator for a couple of hours if you want, else proceed with the recipe.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet and fry the patties in there for 2 minutes per side or until golden brown.
