Combining corn with other ingredients and offering a distinctive Thai flavor, these mouthwatering little fritters are sure to impress your palate. Serve them nice and hot.


  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 3 oz (80g) drained canned corn kernels
  • 1 crumbled dried kaffir lime leaf
  • 1 tablespoon Thai fish sauce
  • 1/4 finely diced red chili pepper


  1. Mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Shape the mixture into patties.
  3. Saute them in a greased skillet, flipping once, until done.
  4. Serve hot, possibly with chili sauce.


If you would prefer a smooth texture, simply puree the ingredients in a food processor before shaping the patties
