Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound finely diced carrot
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- Splenda or sweetener, to taste
- 2 pounds (1kg) lean ground beef
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1/2 finely diced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
Method
- Saute the carrot and onion in the olive oil for 5 minutes, then add all the remaining ingredients.
- Cook, stirring often, until the beef is no longer pink and the vegetables are tender.
- Check and adjust the seasonings if needed.
