Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125ml) sour cream
- 1/2 cup (125ml) buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried dill
- 1/4 cup (60ml) low-fat mayonnaise
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives or 1/2 teaspoon dried
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Dash of vinegar (optional)
- Few dashes Tabasco (optional)
Method
- Whisk the ingredients together.
- Alternatively put all the ingredients in a food processor and puree until well combined.
- Taste and adjust the seasonings if necessary.
- Keep for several days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
