Delish Deviled Egg Starters

This classic dish is so good. You just can't beat eggs (no pun intended) filled with a spicy, creamy mixture, and one deviled egg is never enough. Try this easy but delicious recipe to see what I mean.

Ingredients
 

  • 12 medium eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 2 ½ oz (1/3 cup) mayonnaise
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Few drops of hot sauce (optional)

Method
 

  1. Hard cook the eggs by boiling them in water for 12 minutes.
  2. Drain the hot water from the pan and run cold water over the eggs.
  3. Let them sit in the cool water a few minutes.
  4. Peel the eggs and slice each one in half using a sharp knife.
  5. Transfer the yolks to a small bowl.
  6. Arrange the whites on a serving plate.
  7. Mash the yolks with a fork, then mash in all the other ingredients.
  8. Pipe or spoon this mixture into the egg white halves.
  9. Enjoy this classic deviled eggs recipe chilled or at room temperature.
