Ingredients
- 450 g (1 lb) ground beef (minced beef)
- 3 cooked potatoes
- ½ teaspoon each dill, thyme and parsley
- 50 g (1 3/4 oz) pine nuts
- 50 g (1 3/4 oz) currants
- 1 beaten egg
- Salt and black pepper
- Oil for frying
Method
- Mash the potatoes then mix in the egg and beef.
- Add the currants, nuts, herbs and seasoning.
- Mix well then, with wet hands, shape the mixture into small, flat, round patties.
- Fry them in deep fat until brown.
