Put the chicken wings in a large bowl or zip-top bag.
Whisk the pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, vegetable oil, ginger and garlic together in a separate bowl. Pour the marinade over the chicken wings. Cover the bowl or seal the bag, removing as much air as possible.
Refrigerate for 2 to 8 hours. Don’t marinate the wings for longer than 2 hours when using fresh, unpasteurized pineapple juice.
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top if you have one.
Remove the wings from the marinade and let the excess drip off. Discard the used marinade.
Arrange the wings in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes.
Flip the wings and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. The thickest part should reach 165°F (74°C).
