Ingredients
- 4 quail eggs
- Water, as needed
Method
- Pour water into a small pan until it's about 2/3 full.
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Add your quail eggs with a spoon.
- Don't over-crowd the pan.
- Boil for 2 to 4 minutes, depending how 'set' you want the yolks.
- Cool under cold running water or submerge into ice water.
- Peel carefully and serve.
Fried Quail Eggs
- If you would prefer to fry them, forget the water.
- Break the eggs into a lightly oiled pan and cook for about 1 minute or until set.
- You'll see when they're done!
