Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) shredded cabbage
- 1/2 lb (225g) boiled, mashed potatoes
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 2 tablespoon oil
Method
- Heat the oil in a large skillet and fry the cumin and ginger for 30 seconds.
- Add the cabbage and cook for 15 minutes.
- Add the mashed potatoes, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.
- Cook for another 15 minutes.
