Peaches combine with milk, orange juice and a little sugar to make this velvety smoothie which is ideal to have alongside breakfast or as a thirst-quencher at any time.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 lb (450g) sliced peaches (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 pint (475 ml) milk
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) orange juice concentrate
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 4 fresh peach slices, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Put all the ingredients in the blender then process until smooth.
  2. Divide the peach smoothie between 4 chilled glasses.
  3. Serve immediately, garnished with a peach slice if you like.
