Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- ⅓ cup (80 ml) honey
- ½ cup (125 ml) ketchup
- ½ cup (125 ml) soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced

Method
- Arrange the chicken thighs in a 4-quart slow cooker.
- Whisk the honey, ketchup, soy sauce, basil and garlic together in a bowl.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the thickest part of the chicken reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
- Serve with rice, pasta, mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
Notes
- Soy sauce is already salty, so taste the finished sauce before adding any extra salt.
- Slow cookers vary. Begin checking earlier if yours cooks quickly.
