Easy Blender Milkshake

Whole almonds are added to milk along with rosewater or orange water to taste. Throw in some sugar and serve over ice, and you will find this drink incredibly refreshing.

Ingredients
 

  • oz (125 ml) cold 2% milk (semi-skimmed milk)
  • oz (120g) whole almonds
  • Rosewater or orange water, to taste
  • Sugar, to taste
  • 4 oz (120 ml) icy water

Method
 

  1. Blend the milk, icy water and almonds.
  2. Add the rosewater and sugar.
  3. Serve over ice.

Notes

  • Another variation is blending 2 peeled cored red apples with 15 ¼ fl oz (450 ml) cold 2% fat (semi-skimmed) milk, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1½ teaspoons rosewater or orange water. Serve this over ice.
