Greek Yogurt Avocado Dip

Avocado blends with Greek yogurt and lime juice to make this exquisite dip. Add some garlic, cilantro or hot sauce if you want. Serve this with chips, crudites or bread and enjoy the creamy, savory taste.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) Greek yogurt
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional Ingredients
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro (fresh coriander)
  • Dash of hot sauce

Method
 

  1. Chop the avocado and discard the skin and pit.
  2. Scoop the flesh into your food processor.
  3. Add the yogurt, lime juice and some salt and pepper.
  4. Add garlic powder, cilantro and/or hot sauce if you want.
  5. Blend the mixture until smooth.
