Ingredients
- 2 lbs (900g) cubed stewing beef
- 1½ cups (355ml) beef broth
- 3 sliced carrots
- 4 chopped potatoes
- ¼ cup (32g) rice flour
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 sliced celery stalk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 chopped yellow onion
Instructions
- Put the beef in the crock pot.
- Sprinkle the flour, salt and black pepper over it and stir to coat the meat.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- Discard the bay leaf and stir the stew before serving.

Peel the potatoes if you wish, else leave the skin on.
