I love Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melts and can’t seem to stop buying them! Since I have tried pretty much every scent, I thought I would share my Yankee Candle Tart scent reviews with you, to inspire you to try new scents and discover a new favorite perhaps.
I have an electronic tart burner as well as a tea-light one, and my husband and I both like trying new fragrances in our home. The first time I ever tried using wax tart melts was when I found a bargain set in one of the local shops here in Holland including a tea-light burner and a few small melts.
They were unbranded and didn’t smell that appealing but I liked the concept and began to wonder what quality wax melts would smell like, which is when I started to order directly from Yankee Candle.
Perhaps you live close to a Yankee Candle store or even somewhere like Bed, Bath and Beyond where they sell them, in which case you can simply wander in and sniff to your heart’s content. However, sniffing the melts through the packaging isn’t the same as smelling them burning, so I am going to try and describe all the scents for you, to help you make your choice.
Everyone has different preferences of course. For example some people like floral scents and dislike fruity ones, while others are the opposite, but I’m sure Yankee Candle offers a scent for every preference. Choosing Yankee Candle melts can be hit-and-miss since you might like the description and name of one scent but not like it when it’s fragrancing your home, but at a couple dollars each (or less) you really aren’t losing anything by trying new ones.
Discontinued Yankee Candle Tarts
I’m going to include all the Yankee Candle tart scents here, even the discontinued ones because you can still get them on Amazon, eBay and other places (usually discounted) and you might be wondering what they’re like. Some of my favorites are the discontinued ones actually.
A Child’s Wish (Summer Wish)
This one is especially delicate, so you might like to choose it for your bedroom or even the bathroom. A Child’s Wish offers soft flowers and green fields, as well as gentle breezes, reminiscent of gorgeous springtime weather and dreamy childhood summer play times. If you’re looking for something light and aromatic rather than heady and strong, this one might be a nice choice. I believe it’s been discontinued so might be harder to find than some of the others, but it’s well worth getting because the fragrance is lovely. There is something very special and magical about this scent which will bring back all the loveliest memories from your childhood and make you smile.

Amber Moon
Choose this delightful tart if you want a warming scent for the cooler months. The golden amber smell of a chilly evening includes sandalwood and patchouli notes which you will immediately recognize. This one is earthy, woody, both masculine and feminine, and suitable for the fall or winter. I find it really enchanting and my husband remarked on this one too, perhaps because I had been burning more feminine, floral scents and then switched to this one and he noticed it was warmer, more earthy, and very different, making a nice change. The amber and sandalwood pair up to offer a rich, woodsy and almost oriental flavor which you’ll love for sure.

Angel’s Wings
This Yankee Candle tart has a really clean smell, as well as undertones of spun sugar, a delicate rather than cloying vanilla and also petals. This is a soft, pleasant fragrance which would be nice to burn if you were doing something like yoga or meditation, or you just want something gentle and delicate. I might choose this one if I was taking a relaxing bath and wanted something soft, delicate and pretty in the air. I have a couple of these but I’m saving them for when I really want something gorgeous in terms of fragrance because this one boasts vanilla and floral notes, some of my favorites, but so fragrantly and delicately, I want to be in a dreamy mood.

Apple Cider
This is a welcoming and homey scent and I was really pleased with it. You can detect notes of cloves, nutmeg and cloves, as well as the sweet, juicy and unmistakable smell of the apples themselves. If you’re looking for seasonal scents, this one would be good in the cooler months. Just imagine melting this one and having a fire burning… heaven! This will get you in the mood for fall, walking through the pumpkin patch, carving faces into pumpkins, making a batch of hot cider for everyone to enjoy, and just enjoying family time while outside the air is cooler and the leaves are turning from green to red and gold. An amazing fall or winter scent.

Apple Pumpkin
Apple pumpkin is the quintessential fall scent, fragrancing your house with the most amazing smell of apples, pumpkins and just the smell of fall. If you want something cozy, inviting and warm, the aromatic pumpkin and apple scents come together to bring joy and deliciousness to your house. There are earthy notes from the pumpkin and clove contrasting with the sweet, spiced apple. Choose this melt and you can be sure of a warm welcoming home. This seasonal scent is sure to impress you. I loved it and chose it on a dark and chilly evening when my husband and I chose to curl up on the coach watching a movie, and we both really liked the fragrance.
Apple Pumpkin Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Apple Spice
You can see a donut on the label of this one, so I was not sure what to expect, but was pleased with the warm apple and spice notes this wax melt had to offer. In fact yes, it does smell a little like a warm apple cider donut, fresh out of the oven, boasting nutmeg, cinnamon and brown sugar accents. Many of the apple tarts are ideal for the fall and this one is no exception. It’s not a bakery scent so much as a warm and aromatic fall one – fruity with spices included for a perfect blend and balance. It’s a little bit like the apple cider one but with more apple scent and perhaps less of the aromatic spice. It’s a nice blend anyway and idea for the fall when you want something comforting, warm and delicious.

Autumn Leaves
Autumn leaves are renowned for their beautiful red and gold shades. As summer moves into winter, you have this period of bright colors, crisp evening air, and woodsy aromas, and if you love those feelings and aromas, this is a tart worth considering. Maple and birch leaves are apparent in the fragrance, while juniper berry, orange blossom and pomegranate back them up, to reveal the glory of autumn or fall in your house, and bring a vibrant warmth and charm to the air. This is a seasonal one, so while I probably wouldn’t choose it during the spring or summer, I do like this type of scent for the cooler months. Yankee Candle melts don’t go bad though so hang on to it until the weather is just right and then enjoy it to its fullest.

Autumn Wreath
While the seasons are changing and summer is giving into winter, it is time to think about spicy aromas for the home, and that is where this tart comes into play. Apple type aromas are popular during the fall, and this tart combines cinnamon apple scents with the fresh, crisp, spicy smell you would expect from a wreath on the door. Welcome in your visitors by melting this tart and everyone will savor the beautiful smell. As you welcome in the new season with this melt, you will be able to enjoy crisp apple and woodsy flavors along with an appealing hint of cinnamon. Although there are a few fall Yankee Candle tarts to choose from, this is one of the most popular.

Baby Powder
This is one of my favorites because it is reminiscent of baby powder and smells so fresh and gorgeous. I like the laundry day type melts such as Clean Cotton, and I also adore this one. In fact you could melt half of this one with half of the Clean Cotton and have the most amazing result. Soft Blanket would also be lovely combined with this one. A lot of people love the smell of baby powder, and envision clean, happy babies after their bath, full of smiles and warm hugs, and of course the underlying aroma of baby powder. Bring back the memory of baby smiles and gurgles with this appealing Yankee Candle melt. This might well become one of your favorites.
Baby Powder Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Bahama Breeze
Enjoy the smell of summer by choosing Yankee Candle Bahama Breeze tarts. You can expect an exotic mango, grapefruit and pineapple blend, reminiscent of the cocktails you enjoy sipping on the beach under the warm summer sunshine. Tropical fruit fans will enjoy this amazing tart. It is not overly strong, more mild and gentle, and when you close your eyes, smelling this, you will be able to imagine yourself walking down a beach path with the sun on your face and the ocean breeze tantalizing your nostrils, and don’t forget that cocktail in your hand. Bahama Breeze is a lovely fragrance to choose during the spring or summer.
Bahama Breeze Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Balsam & Cedar
A very seasonal choice, the balsam & cedar Yankee Candle aroma is something special and very distinctive. You know how the house smells when you have just brought home a freshly-cut Christmas tree and the whole family is getting excited because it is nearly time to decorate it. This lovely tart pairs juniper berries, balsam and cedar to bring back all those luxurious memories of Christmas past, present and future. The fresh forest smell signifies Christmas is not far away, and this is one of the best tarts to burn during the festive period, in my opinion. If you are giving Yankee Candle tarts as a Christmas gift, consider including this one in the set.

Banana Nut Bread
The comforting aroma of baking is captured in this special tart. Who doesn’t love banana nut bread and the warming, comforting aroma in the house when such a treat is baking in the oven? To me, it smells of bananas and walnuts, and I can also detect some gingerbread in there too, perhaps just warm spices. I find the aroma pleasant. Although this isn’t one of my favorite tarts, I do think it’s perfect if you want a bakery type smell, something which is comforting, special and just a little bit unusual and different. The nuts and earthy spices are important here else it would just smell of bananas.
Banana Nut Bread Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Bay Leaf Wreath
Bay leaves, cedar and orange combine to make this heavenly trio of aromas. This tart is very special and if you are looking for something suitable for the fall or early winter, but you don’t necessarily want a cinnamon-based tart, this one is ideal. This fresh scent is a little bit like Cottage Breeze, and seasonal tarts like this are always good to melt at certain times of the year. Although there is no reason not to use this one during the spring or summer, it is especially good during the fall or winter when citrus and woodsy aromas are popular and bring the beauty of fall into your living room or whichever room you choose to melt this. It would also be a good bathroom one.
Bay Leaf Wreath Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Beach Flowers
The lovely tart offers gentle lily, hyacinth and tuberose scents along with soft, watery notes, making it ideal if you are looking for something floral and feminine, blending more than one floral aroma. The soft, powdery scent is beautiful and I found this one had a great throw, fragrancing not only the living room but the rest of the apartment too. Pink Sands is another beach-type tart with floral accents but Beach Flowers is unique and offers a very special blend. I’d buy this one again and I think it would work in any kind of home. Try this one if you’re relaxing in a hot bathtub or if you are chilling out in the evening. The smell is so pretty.
Beach Flowers Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Beach Walk
Beach Walk is a lovely Yankee Candle tart to choose because it offers a fragrant you will identify – a blend of salty ocean air along with tangerine and orange blossom. Close your eyes and you will be able to imagine you are strolling along the beach, feeling carefree and full of the joys of summer, with the waves gently crashing on to the sand and the orange blossoms waving in the breeze behind you. This is a lovely tart to choose for the spring or summer and I got my husband the hanging car air freshener in this scent too because we both found it so reminiscent of the summer and the relaxing, lovely feelings that brings. This has to be one of our favorite ones.
Beach Walk Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Beach Wood
Another beachy one, and therefore a possible choice for the spring or summer, this Yankee Candle favorite blends the appeal of the beach – the ocean and sand – with a warm wood scent, so you get a really well-balanced aroma from it. This unusual choice would be nice in any room including the bedroom or bathroom, and I love the vetiver and driftwood scents which send me off into a daydream. If you want a beach type scent without blossom or fresh ocean flair, choose this one and enjoy the warm driftwood aroma and subtle smoke/sand scents. The aroma from Yankee Candle Beach Wood is sweet, peaceful and beautifully summery.

Berrylicious
Berries come to mind when you choose the Yankee Candle Berrylicious tart. Combining ripe, juicy berries and a delicate vanilla frosting, this wonderful scent is sure to make you smile. I found the aroma quite strong and it lasted for 3 evenings’ worth of melting. If you are into fruity aromas you should like this one because it smells really nicely balanced and promotes the aroma of blueberries without being too sweet or sickly. If you’re sitting in the kitchen scrapbooking, reading a book or simply preparing food, have this melt burning in the background. It’s homely and delicious enough to really complement such a scene.
Berrylicious Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Black Cherry
This is another Yankee Candle tart designed to appeal to those of us who like a fruity aroma in the house. This long-lasting fragrance is sweet without being sickly sweet, and you will be able to clearly identify the ripe, juicy black cherry smell. It is really sweet and relaxing. I have a microwavable cherry pit pillow which I wrap around my neck to soothe my muscles and that smells incredible, so I knew I’d like this tart too. The aroma is quite different but still pleasant. Perfect for any season or occasion, the black cherry fragrance is really pleasant, and this is a nice one to add to your collection of Yankee Candle Tart wax melts.
Black Cherry Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Black Coconut
Coconut is a lovely aroma to blend with others and can be matched with chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, or even ocean type aromas depending on the mood you are trying to set. One of the more unusual tarts, smelling of coconut, cedar and blossoms, this one conjures up pictures of a beautiful, tropical island, relaxing in a bar or dining al fresco in the warm air, watching the sun setting in the distance. This one reminds me of vacations. In fact the coconut aroma isn’t too strong, but it is in there, and this is a well-balanced tart. I would say this one is quite heady and rich. It works nicely as a car jar, but you might not want it if you aren’t into the headier, stronger flavors. This is a nice one to choose for a balmy summer evening, or when you are setting the scene for romance and relaxing with your partner after a delicious dinner.

Blissful Autumn
Another good choice for the cooler months, Blissful Autumn combines crisp fall air with a touch of fruit, harvest and wood. This is a warm and comforting aroma and perhaps a lovely choice if you are relaxing on a sunny autumn afternoon or enjoying a home-cooked meal for the family. For me, it brought back happy memories of walking through a leafy forest on a sunny and crisp autumn morning. I love how the main aroma is wood but it is supported so well by the apple and pear aromas, bringing everything together in perfect harmony to conjure up the vision of autumn with the beautiful gold and red leaves and everything else we love about the fall.

Blueberry Scone
This is not the only Yankee Candle blueberry scent but it is one of the most balanced, because as well as the juicy, plump blueberries you will be able to smell hints of cream and vanilla, making this a great choice if you’re looking for something to fragrance the kitchen. Close your eyes and you could imagine yourself in a cozy bakery with a blueberry pie cooling on the countertop. This is a comforting choice and most people like it. I certainly did. If you are into fruity smells but you would rather not have something one-dimensional, consider this Blueberry Scone tart because the fruit, cream and vanilla notes combine wonderfully.
Blueberry Scone Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Buttercream
Buttercream is great if you love sweet, sensual fragrances, because it teams freshly churned butter with sugar and vanilla, to create a very feminine aroma. I love sweet Yankee Candle scents sometimes but am in the mood for a nature scent or fruit scent other times. It just depends on my mood. I like buttercream and it’s one of the ones I can’t stop picking up and smelling through the plastic because it smells like candy! Mix half of this with half a strawberry tart or Whoopie pie tart if you are into mixology and want to create a brand new scent. You might be surprised the smell is quite delicate rather than strong, but for such a sweet scent I think that’s a good thing.
Buttercream Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Camomile Tea
Camomile and honey with a touch of citrus unite in this tart to bring you a gorgeous aroma. Personally I don’t like the taste of camomile tea but I do like the smell of Roman camomile and that’s one of my favorite kinds of essential oils, so I figured I would also enjoy this Yankee Candle camomile tart, and yes I did. It’s soft, peaceful, pleasant and relaxing, perhaps a nice option if you’re in the tub relaxing or even doing yoga or meditating. This is a very ‘soft’ fragrance. Try combining it half-half with Soft Blanket or Baby Powder for a lovely blend, or else just melt it by itself and enjoy the distinctive camomile, citrus and honey aromas in your home.
Camomile Tea Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Campfire Treat
Bringing you aromas of sugary marshmallows with a little smoke and warm wood, this aroma makes me think of camping and toasting marshmallows over the campfire, a fond experience of course. I love the slight smokiness of this one, making it a great choice if you fancy a sweet smell but you want another undertone in there, not just the sweetness. Aromas can take us back in time and one sniff of this will certainly bring back memories of past camping experiences. I find this a very well-balanced Yankee Candle tart because of the sweetness and smoke.

Candy Cane Lane
A festive treat for the senses, peppermint, frosting and cookies blend together for this tart. Close your eyes and you will be able to smell Christmas rapidly approaching. Reminiscent of thin mint chocolate cookies, the smell of this Yankee Candle tart is really delicious. It’s the kind of fragrance I like over the festive period because it is seasonal, but you could blend half of this tart with half a Strawberry Buttercream one perhaps, to come up with a brand new aroma, or even try a bakery aroma like Vanilla Cupcake or Banana Nut Bread, combining half of each tart for a perfect result.
Candy Cane Lane Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Candy Corn
Special and festive, this is a brand new choice for Halloween which smells true to form, exactly as you would hope. Melt this and release your inner child dressed up for Halloween and trick-or-treating for a bag full of candy. You will recognize the familiar candy corn scent and remember these creamy vanilla treats from years gone by. This is a sweet and gorgeous tart which smells like sugar and honey, and helps set the mood for your Halloween party. It smells so good you will be able to melt this any time of the year, not just over Halloween. If you’re buying these for Halloween get your order in quick because it is likely to sell out from many sources.
Candy Corn Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Caramel Pecan Pie
Sweet and rich, the smell of this tart is like when you bake your own caramel pecan pie, so you can bring back all those wonderful baking smells without actually having to make a pie. Accents of pecans, walnuts, creamy caramel and butter combine to offer this fragrance, and it’s great if you are into sweet smells and bakery type aromas for your home. This makes a change from fruity or spicy Yankee Candle tarts and it is one I would definitely melt again. Try melting half of it with half a Banana Nut Bread if you want a more complex bakery aroma in your home. Whether you melt this alone or combine it with another tart, it’s a fragrance that is impossible not to like.
Caramel Pecan Pie Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Celebrate Christmas
Christmas is always special and the day of the year when many of us are happiest and most excited. If you want to gather your family together and bring the house alive with good vibes and happy holiday moments, choose the Celebrate Christmas tart because its sweet and spice fragrance is sure to add to the festive cheer of the period. This smells like freshly baked cookies coming out of the oven and offers all the aromatic Christmas notes you would expect in such a seasonal tart. It’s a little like Home Sweet Home and Kitchen Spice rolled into one, with extras in there as well. If you like sweet tarts with a little spice thrown in, you should like this one a lot.
Celebrate Christmas Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Champaca Blossom
Sweet and floral, the aroma from this Yankee Candle tart is quite delicate and exotic. It is gorgeous and joyful, smelling of floral nectar. This would make a nice choice for a spring or summer evening, if you are in the mood for something floral but not too flowery, because it is a gentle aroma. Try mixing half of this with half a Midnight Jasmine if you want a heady smell, or half a Beach Wood tart to evoke beautiful beach vacation memories. I got this one in a mixed set of 25 instead of choosing it myself but I was pleased with the aroma of it, especially when mixed with Beach Wood in my tart burner to make a brand new aroma.
Champaca Blossom Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Cherries on Snow
This unusual tart smells like the picture on the front – bright, juicy cherries and icy cool freshness. You can also smell almonds in the mix too. This will bring to mind a winter day outdoors. You can enjoy the delicate throw (not cloying but subtle) and love the marzipan/snow scent it offers. I found the smell remains true for the whole 8 hours without changing or becoming weaker. I would recommend this one if you aren’t so much into pure fruit scents but you want something extra special which offers more than simply fruit. You could mix this with Season of Peace or Fluffy Towels for a softer, more gentle aroma.
Cherries on Snow Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Chocolate Layer Cake
This Yankee Candle tart needs very little introduction because you pretty much know what you’re going to get with this one as soon as you read the name. The wonderful smells of cocoa, fudge and home baking come together to bring you a tart which is sweet and comforting but not too rich or strong. It will smell like someone is baking a cake in the oven and your kitchen and home is going to be filled with the heavenly scent. If you’ve never used a non-food product with a chocolate aroma, be prepared to fall in love with this. I love cocoa butter body lotion and chocolate shower gel so I expected to enjoy this Chocolate Layer Cake tart, and I really did.
Chocolate Layer Cake Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Christmas Cookie
There are a few different Yankee Candle tart options for Christmas, such as Christmas Eve or Celebrate Christmas, but this one is different. Instead of the pine tree or spice notes, this tart offers fresh baked Christmas cookie smells and the fragrance is buttery and rich in vanilla. Whether or not you are baking cookies for Christmas or for another special occasion, there is no doubt this adds a lovely fragrance to your home. Combine half this tart with half a Banana Nut Bread for a different take on the bakery theme, or try Spiced Orange with it. It is very hard to dislike this fragrance unless you just don’t like the smell of cookies!
Christmas Cookie Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Christmas Eve
One of the most exciting evenings of the year, Christmas Eve deserves its own special fragrance, don’t you think? That’s why this bold and lively smelling tart embodies Christmas Eve in all its glory, offering a great throw and a smell every member of the household will love. Candied fruits, sugared plums and the warm crackle of the hearth come together to form this Christmas Eve tart and it is the perfect choice for Christmas Eve just before the manic frenzy of Christmas Day begins. Get home from Midnight Mass, curl up on the couch with a glass of bubbly and melt this special tart to get you into the Christmas spirit.
Christmas Eve Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Christmas Wreath
The delicious aroma of pine, balsam, holly berry and fresh-cut boughs make the most beautiful scent for the Christmas period, so if you are looking for something other than bakery smells or a spiced orange or cinnamon fragrance, consider this one. Personally I like woody scents, whether that is the Beach Wood tart or something more seasonal and festive like this one, and if your wreath is on the outside of your front door you will only smell it when walking past, so melt this tart and you can enjoy the wonderful festive scent inside and outside as well.
Christmas Wreath Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Cinnamon Stick
Cinnamon has a distinctive smell and this one boasts undiluted cinnamon for cinnamon fans. Strong, aromatic and wonderful imported cinnamon is backed up with a subtle clove aroma to enhance the smell further, and this one is very distinctive because it smells exactly like what you would expect. I like to combine half of this with half an Orange Spice tart for a really festive smell, but it would probably be good with Fruit Fusion to add a fruity touch to the scent. Not a tart for people who don’t like the smell of cinnamon but wonderful for everyone else, and one of the best tarts to use in Yankee Candle tart mixology.
Cinnamon Stick Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Cinnamon Vanilla
Blending the aromatic earthiness of cinnamon with the rich, sweet smell of vanilla, this Yankee Candle tart was apparently inspired by ‘horchata’ which is a tasty Mexican beverage. Cinnamon and vanilla are of course used extensively in Mexican cooking, especially baking. It is warm and comforting, a little like cappuccino or a vanilla latte with cinnamon sprinkled on top. I’m surprised this isn’t more beige like Cinnamon Sugar but I love pink so I’m not complaining! I would categorize this as a bakery type scent – comforting, as well as sweet without being cloying, and suitable for pretty much any room or occasion.
Cinnamon Vanilla Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Clean Cotton
One of the first Yankee Candle tart scents I fell in love with, Clean Cotton is just gorgeous. It smells like a long washing line full of white towels and white linen drying in the sun, offering a blend of white flowers, lemon and green notes. It just smells so ‘clean’ and fresh, and your home will smell like it’s laundry day and your linens have dried outdoors in the sun and breeze. Fluffy Towels is more like the towels you just got out the dryer but this one is more like a clean laundry room, all in all really pleasant and appealing. Mix it with Fluffy Towels or Vanilla Lavender perhaps, if you want to add to the laundry experience or add a fabric softener smell too.
Clean Cotton Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Coconut & Vanilla Bean
This rich and exotic Yankee Candle tart combines warm vanilla with pure coconut to offer you a tropical and exotic aroma, full of the promise of escapism. Daydream that you are on a warm, sunny beach, enjoying the aroma of the warm sand with a little sunscreen smell too. This is a lovely scent to choose for a hot day when you’re just back from the beach and you want to prolong the special, relaxing feelings into the balmy evening. If you find vanilla by itself too sweet and coconut by itself a bit one-dimensional, try this beautifully blended tart because it combines these two main flavors for perfect harmony.
Coconut & Vanilla Bean Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Coconut Bay
Bringing the image of windswept Caribbean shores and coconut milk to mind, this Coconut Bay tart is the best choice for true coconut fans. I adore coconut, both to smell and to cook with, so I knew I’d enjoy this scent. It’s quite gentle and light, to be honest, so if you are just after a delicate coconut aroma floating through the house, this would be a satisfying choice for you. It’s a nice choice for the summer season but I would also melt it in the winter, close my eyes, and pretend I’m back there on that tropical beach! It is warm and clean-smelling without the sweet vanilla undertones that some of the more feminine melts offer, which is why I often choose it.
Coconut Bay Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Cranberry Chutney
When I first saw this one I was unconvinced by the word ‘chutney’ wondering what place such a savory scent would have in my home, but actually melting it released orange, raisin, honey, cranberry and rosemary aromas which I really liked. It’s quite spicy with some fruit in there too, and the rosemary adding a nice, aromatic rounded touch. This would be a nice choice during the fall or winter months because it’s just that kind of smell – comforting home baking and the promise of Christmas all rolled into one. I’m still not convinced about the name of this one but the smell is definitely nice and strong enough without being overly pungent.
Cranberry Chutney Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Cranberry Pear
A fruity smell, this tart offers a great balance because you get the sweetness of a juicy pear combined with the slight tartness of cranberry. It is quite sweet, granted, but I don’t find it overly so, although I am into sweet scents so maybe I’m not the best judge of how sweet is too sweet. I find this scent relaxing and it would be nice to melt if you were taking a soothing bath or just relaxing in front of the TV. It would also be a nice one for the kitchen or dining room. This is a nice scent but not in my top 10 favorites, although it’s worth a try if you like fresh and fruity smells in the house, and more than one kind of fruit in the mix.
Cranberry Pear Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Early Sunrise
This is a nice clean smell, as you would expect, combining lemon, citrus, tea and ginger, to bring a vision of a clear, new day. The crisp, bright beginning to the morning is what this Yankee Candle tart is all about. The lemon, tea and ginger combine really harmoniously to bring you a delicate, uplifting scent, and this is certainly the one to melt while you’re doing a dawn yoga session or even sipping your morning coffee and perusing the daily newspaper. All the scents included in the Early Sunrise tart blend perfectly so you don’t have anything overpowering any other flavors. I really liked this one. I thought I would and I wasn’t disappointed.

Eucalyptus
Feeling full of cold or flu, or simply a little under the weather? This clean, bracing aroma will soon have you feeling brighter. Eucalyptus is quite a strong, aromatic aroma. This brings to mind a winter jaunt through the forest, seeing the dew glinting on the leaves in the first beams of early morning sunlight, and it is also a comforting smell because it’s something we are familiar with. Eucalyptus is calming and invigorating, a good one to choose while the family is getting ready to go to school or work, and it’s got an amazing throw. A couple of hours later and the enticing aroma of eucalyptus was noticeable in every room of our apartment.
Eucalyptus Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Exotic Bloom
Both mysterious and romantic, this is a great fragrance for setting the mood for a romantic evening tryst. Rather than offering the smell of simple flowers blowing in the breeze in the daytime, this one takes things to the next level because it smells like the rich-smelling exotic blooms which open up at night and perfume the sultry air. If you are cooking dinner for your partner, choose Exotic Bloom to set a beautiful romantic scene, and you will find all your senses tantalized. This is a lovely tart to daydream with at any time, although I find it a better choice for the evening because it is quite rich and heady.
Exotic Bloom Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Farmer’s Market
The wonderful fall harvest is encapsulated in this tart, and that includes apples, peaches and berries, supported by warm spice undertones and the earthiness they lend. You know the smell in the air when you walk through the fruit and vegetable area of the farmer’s market? Well that is what this tart smelt like to me, really fresh, fruity and delicious. It put me in the mood for cooking healthy food! I think there is a touch of scorched wood and floral in there, and it’s like walking through the orchard or fruit market. A nice choice for the kitchen or living room, but also something that would work in the bathroom, Farmer’s Market is a winner.
Farmer’s Market Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Fluffy Towels
This was the first Yankee Candle tart I ever tried and I was blown away by just how gorgeous it is! I don’t often run out of Fluffy Towels because it’s such a favorite. You know when you open the tumble dryer door after laundering a bunch of good quality white bath towels, and you get that clean, fresh aroma? Well that’s exactly how this smells, offering hints of apple, lemon, lily and lavender, so you can smell the cotton, the washing powder and a hint of fabric softener in the mix too. This is a lovely aroma for the bedroom or bathroom, but also nice in the living room because it’s clean and refreshing, and the kind of smell everyone finds pleasing.
Fluffy Towels Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
French Vanilla
Vanilla fans, here is one for you. It’s quite subtle and natural, rather than smelling like vanilla frosting or some such, but that is what a lot of people actually prefer. As someone who wasn’t impressed when The Body Shop changed their vanilla perfume formulation to something much weaker and more insipid, I don’t find this vanilla tart strong enough for me, but then I do love my vanilla really sweet and strong. Try combining this one with Sweet Strawberry or Whoopie Pie and enjoy a homemade blend of flavors instead of the simple vanilla perhaps. This isn’t a bad scent but I just find it a bit mild by itself and prefer to blend it.
French Vanilla Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Fresh Cut Roses
I love the smell of roses. I love every floral smell actually, but there is something so magical about sniffing roses. I was surprised when I melted this one though because it was so mild. Instead of offering a heady rose scent it was very subtle and delicate. It isn’t fake-smelling or perfumy but very, very natural, so if you want the room to smell like you have a vase of cut roses in there, this is the tart for you, but don’t go expecting a strong flavor because it is one of the most delicate Yankee Candle tarts I have tried, in my opinion. Try combining it with White Gardenia for a rich, floral scent, or Silver Birch to add a masculine element to the feminine charm.
Fresh Cut Roses Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Fruit Fusion
As you would expect from the name, this Yankee Candle tart is fruity, offering a combination of berries, lime and orange, so you get a range from sweet to tart, and more than a one-dimensional fruit smell. Personally the fruity tarts are the least popular for me. It isn’t that I don’t like them, because I do, but more just the fact there are other tarts I prefer. It smells a bit like fruit punch in the summertime, so if you want to introduce some sunshine into your home on an otherwise dull winter day, consider Fruit Fusion because it would be a really good fit in that scenario. If you are into fruity smells, this could easily become a favorite.

Garden Hideaway
This one really surprised me and I love it. It’s in my top 10, perhaps even top 5. I liked this one so much I ordered the jar candles to match. This is a discontinued scent so if you find it somewhere, stock up on it because the discontinued scents just get harder to find. It brings to mind sunny meadows and the grassy, earthy tones associated with relaxing in a lovely garden. It is a very outdoorsy aroma and I haven’t tried mixing this one but I imagine it would be amazing mixed with Fluffy Towels, just like relaxing on a bench in the sunny garden with your laundry blowing dry on the line nearby in the breeze – so relaxing!

Garden Sweet Pea
I find this peach, pear, rosewood and freesia blend romantic and pretty. I’m growing sweet peas on the balcony but they’re still tiny and not bloomed yet, so I can’t get any kind of comparison yet! This is less feminine than some of the floral ones because there is some musk in there somewhere, making it well balanced. Garden flowers swaying gently in the breeze are what you will be able to smell when you melt the Yankee Candle Garden Sweet Pea tart. It’s a pleasant and versatile smell which would suit any room in the house, perhaps the bedroom because it is relaxing and delicate.

Gingerbread
A favorite scent of many people, Gingerbread brings back all kinds of wonderful childhood memories, such as grandma baking gingerbread over the festive season or even a magical trip to the bakery. Cinnamon and nutmeg work with brown sugar to bring you this Gingerbread tart. It smells like gingersnap cookies and I like to mix it with vanilla or spice tarts, just to add more dimensions to the flavor. I imagine it would also be nice with the Banana Nut Bread tart to recreate a real bakery smell. This is a nice one to choose for the chilly months because it creates a ‘warm’ feeling.

Golden Sands
Another one to bring to mind all the wonderful memories of your last vacation, Yankee Candle Golden Sands is a delicious tart to choose. The golden beach in your mind is there for you anytime you desire, even if the weather outside is not vacation-like in the slightest. Just close your eyes, inhale the magical scent from this melt and your mind can transport you wherever you want to go. The aromas in this one include orange flower, sandalwood and tonka beans, so you can picture yourself in your very own warm island paradise. I find the aroma soothing, heartening and warm.
Golden Sands Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Grapevine & Oak
This one combines grapes and oak with the fresh zing of citrus. It is quite unusual, perhaps nice for the fall or winter because it smells like a walk through a forest shortly after the rain has finished when everything is fresh and bright. It’s lovely and woodsy and perhaps the right choice if you’re planning to snuggle up on the couch with a glass of wine and a good book. Having the grape and oak scent in the background is the perfect aroma to unwind to. If you usually find yourself melting the same kind of tarts, maybe you always seem to go for sweet or flowery ones, then try the Yankee Candle Grapevine & Oak tart and discover something brand new and unique.

Green Grass
You know when spring is coming to an end and summer has arrived? It’s when you can smell freshly mown grass in the air, and that is exactly what this gorgeous tart smells like! Last time I melted this one I combined it half and half with Fluffy Towels and that was really nice, just so fresh and delicious. I haven’t tried any other Green Grass tart mixes. Whether you are enjoying the summer weather and just want to introduce another gorgeous dimension of this into your home, or snuggling up in the chilly months and missing those typical summer smells, invest in a Green Grass tart and you can enjoy that heady scent once more.

Harvest
This is the smell of the fall, and you can enjoy the soft, golden spices along with musk and juicy autumn fruits. Cloves and cinnamon are distinguishable along with pumpkin and apples. This scents your home beautifully and is one of the top picks for the fall, definitely. Even the color is reminiscent of the changing of the seasons, bringing to mind the changing color of the leaves when they turn from green to gold, red and all those gorgeous hues. If you are looking for something fruity, spicy and slightly woodsy/musky but not too strong, then this one might well suit your requirements! I really liked it anyway.
Harvest Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Harvest Welcome
Invite the aroma of the pumpkin, apple and cinnamon into your living room with this tart. It has an undertone of butter, perhaps like a bakery where they are baking pumpkin pie, but it’s in no way too strong. It is more like a background scent which will infuse your home with a welcoming autumn aroma. A winning tart if you are looking for a seasonal delight, this tart is definitely a great choice for this time of the year because the smell is so lovely. It is similar to Harvest, but Harvest Welcome has that slight bakery scent undertone which I love and find comforting, so if you’re torn between the two, that can be how you pick one (or else get one of each!)
Harvest Welcome Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Hazelnut Coffee
This is perhaps a tart which needs no explanation because we all know how wonderful hazelnut coffee smells, either first thing in the morning as a wake-me-up or later in the day as a pick-me-up. Vanilla and cocoa bean accents are recognizable in this tart, along with the nutty undertone. The scent is light is invigorating rather than being too bold, and if you enjoy a cup of java in the morning or evening, or any time of the day really, this might be a good Yankee Candle tart for you to opt for. Whenever I make a hazelnut coffee for myself (or another one) I always enjoy the aroma, so now I can enjoy that lovely aroma even if I happen to be sipping tea!

Holiday Bayberry
Try this traditional aroma and enjoy pine, laurel, fir, frankincense, myrrh and bayberry. The fragrance is lovely and it screams ‘holidays’ and fun family times. If Christmas is coming up, or Thanksgiving, you might want to get hold of a few of these because the smell is so festive. Bayberry is thought to bring luck and the aroma lingers, bringing to mind that special seasonal feel and bringing back special family memories. I’ve only tried this tart once but I should imagine a lot of people would name it among their favorites, especially people who like nostalgic aromas and adding a cozy, family feel to their homes during the holidays.
Holiday Bayberry Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Holiday Garland
The holidays just aren’t complete without a lovely fragrance in the air. If you don’t have a Christmas tree yet or you don’t have a fireplace, and therefore no pine aroma, and you also want some supporting accents, then consider the Holiday Garland tart. You get the pine along with the tart fruitiness of cranberries in the blend. I found the tart quite subtle although the throw certainly wasn’t weak. It scented the whole room and when I woke the next day I could still smell it slightly, offering a beautiful festive scent. This is one I would buy again because I do love the Christmassy smell of pine.

Home For The Holidays
Cinnamon and cloves are the warm holiday spices you will be able to smell with this tart, along with balsam and earthy cedar. Whether you are literally ‘home for the holidays’ or simply seeking a cozy, warm aroma to fragrance your home, this one is nice. The aroma is very soft and subtle. This one isn’t just for Christmas but the holidays are the time you will probably want to melt such a tart because the aroma is perfectly fitting and you will be able to infuse your home with that unmistakable cheery fragrance which brings to mind all the holidays, like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and just anytime the whole family gathers under one roof for a joyous occasion.
Home for the Holidays Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Home Sweet Home
The Home Sweet Home Yankee Candle tart smells like baking spices and freshly brewed tea, all in all a homely scent. You will be able to detect some warm cinnamon in there and it is a nice, comforting fragrance. Do you ever have those lazy weekends when the family is sitting around the breakfast table enjoying home-baked treats? Well, it smells a little like that, and I also find this one quite festive but that’s perhaps just because I can smell cinnamon and nutmeg. If you wanted to blend half a tart with another, then I would consider just adding whatever you like, perhaps Sweet Strawberry or Vanilla Satin to increase the sweet fruitiness.
Home Sweet Home Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Honey Blossom
Honey Blossom offers you a feminine, romantic scent. It is sweet, floral, and pleasantly uplifting. This Yankee Candle tart blends honey musk, woods, freesia, and flower nectar to bring you a full, delicate aroma. Melt this one and you will end up both smiling and daydreaming. The sweetness of honey combines and contrasts nicely with the musk and wood, to bring a nice balance, and this would be a suitable fragrance for any room in the house, but especially the bedroom if you want to introduce a relaxing feeling in the evening, or the living room for the same reason. Try blending it with another floral tart if you enjoy the floral appeal.
Honey Blossom Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Honeydew Melon
Another Yankee Candle tart that needs no introduction, this one brings you the well-known aroma of melon, honeydew melon to be specific. The fruity sweetness is appealing and your home will smell like sun-kissed melon straight from the farmer’s market. I thought it really smelled like cutting up a sweet, fresh melon, one that was perfectly ripe, and I liked it a lot. Melon isn’t one of my favorite scents but sometimes I am in the mood for something fruity. Combine this with another fruity scent such as Spiced Orange or Strawberry Buttercream, if you want to add new dimensions to the fruity scent. Get creative and see what you can come up with.
Honeydew Melon Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Hot Cider
With this tart, you can expect a warm, inviting scent. This is a holiday fragrance combining apples with warm, comforting spices. You know how comforting a cup of hot apple cider is in your hand, when you wrap your hands around it for warmth and inhale its rich, delicious smell? Well that is very much what you get when you choose the Yankee Candle Hot Cider tart for your home. Perfect for the fall, this offers a cozy and lovely aroma and if anyone visits your home when you are melting this one, they are sure to remark on the lovely smell. Try melting half of this with half a Banana Nut Bread tart if you want to make it more of a bakery type smell.
Hot Cider Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Icicles
What do icicles smell like, you might be wondering, since they are just frozen water aren’t they? Well this scent is crisp and wintry – a great one to choose if you want to enjoy all the great things about winter while leaving the cold firmly outdoors. You can expect the smell of a pine forest which brings to mind a beautiful winter scene, along with an undertone of warm cinnamon, a spice often used in baked goods, and of course those are enjoyable during the chillier months as well. I smell something musky in this one too, something with a masculine scent but not overwhelming, just soothing and pleasant. This tart has been discontinued but check online for it.
Icicles Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Island Spa
Imagine yourself at a peaceful, relaxing spa. Expect gorgeous bright orange and lemon verbena in this tart. This is a nice, clean scent with a ‘feel good’ type effect. Try combining Yankee Candle Island Spa with Coconut Bay or even the Coconut Vanilla Bean tart if you want to layer the soothing citrus with exotic, tropical and appealing coconut. It is a bit like Citrus Tango without the grapefruit and is more reminiscent of a soothing scent you would expect in a spa rather than the smell of a spa itself. Perhaps combine this one with Fluffy Towels or Lemon Lavender if you want to add even more clean freshness to the mix.
Island Spa Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Juicy Peach
This is a peach of a fragrance. Crisp, gorgeous orchard peaches are brought to mind when you melt this. It is very delicate so don’t worry about it being too strong, because a subtle fragrance is what this Yankee Candle offers. This smells like when you cut into a perfectly ripe peach. Try melting it alone, or else consider blending it with one of the bakery type scents if you want something more peach pie-like. This is ideal for blending with other fruity scents too, such as any of the strawberry ones or even Waikiki Melon or Honeydew Melon. If you are into fruity scents and you want a delicate result, choose this one.
Juicy Peach Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Juicy Watermelon
Watermelon offers a distinctive aroma. This refreshing, cooling and lovely scent brings lazy summer afternoons to mind, and it smells just like you are cutting into a juicy watermelon. It is sweet but I didn’t find it cloying or too sweet. Because I like to mix fruit tarts I tried this one with Mandarin Cranberry and really loved the result. It was like summer meeting winter! It is also very nice by itself and if you like the smell of watermelon for sure you will like the Yankee Candle Juicy Watermelon tart because it is very lifelike and will fragrance your room with a delicate, sweet and authentic smell.
Juicy Watermelon Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Kitchen Spice
One of the most comforting aromas I can think of is that special bakery smell you get in grandma’s or mom’s kitchen, when she is baking something yummy! Clove, cinnamon and ginger pair with aromatic sweet orange. It smells like the fall and the spices and sweetness contrast perfectly to offer a well-balanced scent which will gently fragrance your home with this charming smell. It’s a nice choice for the kitchen after dinner if you are keen to get rid of cooking smells or savory ones like garlic, because it freshens everything back up and the next day you will still be able to detect a fresh baking aroma even if you had the tart melting the whole day before.
Kitchen Spice Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Lake Sunset
Beautiful reflective aromas of musk and sweetness combine to bring you Yankee Candle’s Lake Sunset tart. This one smells gorgeous and I really like it. In fact it is one of my favorites. The smell is quite strong and it puts me in mind of sitting outside on a balmy summer evening watching the sunset and reflecting on the day that is just coming to an end and meeting the night. This scent is tranquil and harmonious, and it would be a good fit in any room. If you are looking for the most relaxing Yankee Candle tart, I would definitely say this is one to consider, especially if you are trying to avoid the heady floral ones.
Lake Sunset Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Lavender
Everyone knows how lavender smells and it is a very relaxing fragrance, as well as a distinctive floral one. I think it also offers a very ‘clean’ fragrance because it is found in some fabric softeners and furniture polishes. It is also a very nice one to melt in the bedroom and fall asleep to. You can get lavender pillow sprays and lavender oils to make you feel relaxed enough to fall asleep, so if you find it tough to wind down before bedtime without help, do try this lovely scent. You can also mix it with another tart, but because there are also Lavender Vanilla and Lemon Lavender tarts, you might just want to try one of those instead of mixing your own.
Lavender Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Lavender Vanilla
Vanilla added to the lavender brings a brand new experience, so if you like the soothing, aromatic lavender scent but you also love the sweetness of vanilla, try this tart because it is a nice contrast and perfectly balanced. Musk and bergamot also feature here, to tie the aromatic lavender and creamy vanilla together, and balance things out. It smells fresh and clean, and is a favorite among many people, myself included. Lavender isn’t one of my favorite smells, I admit, but add the vanilla in there and the balance is so good it just works so well. I find it a very calming aroma, maybe one to choose after a long, challenging day.
Lavender Vanilla Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Lemon Lavender
The first thing I think of when smelling this one is furniture polish, and I mean that in a good way because it is so fresh and clean! It is a powdery fresh blend which brings together the tart, acidic brightness of the lemon along with the sweet, aromatic and soothing lavender, and this fragrance works very nice. It would be good in the bathroom or dining room, but also the bedroom because it is a calming scent and perhaps a nice one to smell when you are getting ready to go to sleep. It has quite a strong smell and might not appeal to people who don’t like the smell of Pledge. It is more in depth than that though, and I find it summery and pleasing.
Lemon Lavender Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Lilac Blossoms
I love the flowery smell of this one. If you like rich floral scented tarts such as White Gardenia or Midnight Jasmine, you will definitely like this. It smells just like a lilac bush, offering a soft fragrance which lasts and lasts. If you have had bad experiences before with floral scents smelling disappointingly like bug spray or just too artificial, prepare to be pleasantly surprised by this one, because I was. It really does smell true to life, like you have a lilac bush underneath the open window you are sitting next to and it is swaying gently in the breeze, releasing its gently, distinctive scent. I really enjoyed the Yankee Candle Lilac Blossoms tart.
Lilac Blossoms Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Lovely Kiku
Rather like one of the aromas you might expect on a gorgeous desert island, Lovely Kiku offers a happy, romantic scent. Warm vanilla and chrysanthemum blossom pair here and I would definitely describe it as a pleasant, heartwarming late spring or summertime scent, which would be ideal for the living room, dining room or even the bedroom or bathroom. You can mix this tart with Coconut Bay or Waikiki Melon to get another take on the exotic flair, or simply melt it as it is if you want to indulge your senses in the lovely tropical aroma just as it is. I wasn’t sure what this would smell like because I wasn’t sure what kiku meant, but now I know and love it.
Lovely Kiku Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Loves Me, Loves Me Not
This Yankee Candle tart smells like a field of pretty daisies blowing in the breeze and it offers a lovely throw. It is just like being in a beautiful field in the springtime only minus the allergies of course. I like it because it is pleasantly floral without being too strong, and it is also a nice one to mix. Try it with Fresh Cut Roses to add to the heavenly springtime aroma, or even Green Grass. I didn’t try that blend but I bet it would be amazing! So does he love you or does he love you not? Instead of pulling the petals off a real daisy simply melt this Yankee Candle tart and you will feel loved and in a great mood as well.
Loves Me, Loves Me Not Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Luau Party
Hawaiian aromas like peach, vanilla and orange combine and this tart smells like the kind of Hawaiian cocktail you could be sipping at a luau party. It is fruity and floral and will put you in mind of fruit punch. If you have friends over and you want to add a fun summertime fragrance to the air, this is definitely the one to choose because it is so lively and fun. It is sure to perk everyone up with its overflowing effervescence. This is one of the most ‘happy’ Yankee Candle tarts if I had to pick one word for it, and it certainly smells like a fun cocktail with its fruity aromas and the vanilla in there too. I liked it a lot.
Luau Party Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Luscious Plum
Quite a new one in the Yankee Candle tart range, Luscious Plum is festive and rich, conjuring up images of sugared plums, a real Christmas delight. This one is not overly sweet, but you will be able to identify that special plum smell. If I had several Yankee Candle tarts to choose from (and I usually do!) then I would definitely hang on to this one for the festive period because that is when such a scent really comes into its own. This might be good combined with Wild Fig if you want a headier, richer fragrance, or just burn half a tart to keep the scent milder. I prefer a mild plum smell to a heavy one (and it lasts twice as long that way too).
Luscious Plum Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
MacIntosh
Do you like the clean, fresh scent of apples? There is a reason this is one of the bestselling Yankee Candle tarts, and that is of course because so many people enjoy this scent more than others. You will be able to smell a perfectly ripe apple and none of the backup scents other apple tarts have, such as cinnamon, vanilla or nutmeg. This is simply unadulterated, pure apple. It smells like harvest time in the orchard. Sweet, juicy and crisp, without the sugary scents found in other, similar tarts, this one is sure to appeal to you if you happen to like an apple aroma, because it is fresh, clean and special.
MacIntosh Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
MacIntosh Spice
This one is similar to the MacIntosh Yankee Candle tarts but with the added bonus of cinnamon so if you fancy a rich, earthy undertone to the slightly tart apple aroma, try MacIntosh Spice and enjoy what the cinnamon adds to the apple smell. If you like a tiny touch of cinnamon try half of this one and half a regular MacIntosh tart perhaps. Instead of smelling like a walk through the orchard this tart smells like a warm apple pie baking in the oven and cinnamon is usually a soothing and comforting aroma, something that might remind you of your mother or grandmother in the kitchen rustling out culinary delights in the oven.
MacIntosh Spice Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Magical Frosted Forest
Another newcomer to the Yankee Candlee range, Magical Frosted Forest offers a delicious pine tree aroma along with musk to offer a subtle evergreen scent reminiscent of Christmas and the winter in general. I found it very clean and pleasant, similar to Icicles but more woodsy. This is one of the best ones if you are looking for a nice, festive scent which will make you remember Christmases past, when everyone gathered around a real fire, or when you brought home a real tree and decorated it, and enjoyed that beautiful pine scent it offered. Melt this, close your eyes and you will clearly envision tall, snow-covered pines on a bright winter’s day.
Magical Frosted Forest Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Mandarin Cranberry
This was the first fruity Yankee Candle tart I melted and I really liked it, as did my husband. It is really strong but very pleasant and a nice choice for the living room. I thought it would be quite festive and wintry because of the cranberry element, well the mandarin oranges too, but actually I would say it’s more generally fruity offering plenty of delicious sweetness. The orange is the strongest aroma in here and the cranberry seems to back it up. It actually smells a little like hot punch or mulled wine. This is a feel-good scent which is ideal for the fall or winter and it is one I will definitely be buying again. I haven’t tried mixing it but it already is a blend of 2 scents.
Mandarin Cranberry Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Mango Peach Salsa
Fruity and zingy, I find this sweet mango and peach confection really invigorating. The main fruit flavors are underlined with ginger flowers, pink peppercorns and citrus. This is a lovely tropical scent for the spring, summer or even early fall, and it is also one of the most popular ones. I found the mango more powerful than the peach and also found this to be quite a bold aroma which might not appeal to people who prefer a milder throw or who do not like fruity scents. The tart tanginess of this means it is a scent some people will love and others might not. This might be a nice scent for the kitchen after you’ve been cooking something spicy or garlicky.
Mango Peach Salsa Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Margarita Time
Margarita Time is the kind of Yankee Candle scent you will want to melt if you are having any kind of party or fun gathering. You will be able to smell the fresh zesty lime along with a hint of salt. Blend this tart with Sweet Strawberry to enjoy the smell of a strawberry margarita, or get creative with another one. This is one of the bestselling new Yankee Candle tarts and it is easy to see why. It offers a fresh, tangy and light aroma which is great for every room of your house but especially wherever the party is happening. It is a nice choice for the summer because of the delicate zesty aroma and it definitely smells like a real margarita.
Margarita Time Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Meadow Showers
Delicate raindrops falling on crisp green grass is what this tart reminds me of. It is a fresh green scent and smells like a spring morning when you open the door, see the sun in the sky, realize everything is alright with the world and inhale that delicate grassy aroma. It’s hard not to like this one actually. You can enhance the water element by blending it with Icicles or enhance the grassy appeal by adding Green Grass. This is a lovely fresh smell and would be a nice choice for the bathroom or even for the living room if you want the kind of scent you get naturally when opening the windows on a beautiful spring day.
Meadow Showers Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Merry Marshmallow
Marshmallows smell sweet and fun, and this tart offers a rich and creamy, yummy flavor which will make your house smell fun and gorgeous. Bring out your inner child by choosing this scent. The vanilla and marshmallow fragrance is perfect for the holidays so if you want to get festive with a beautiful scent, choose Yankee Candle Merry Marshmallow and you are sure to love what it offers. I am often in the mood for something sweet and I adore Salted Caramel (although if I have it in a small room it can give me a headache!) so I thought I’d like this one and yes, I did! Try it half and half with Sweet Strawberry to make it even sweeter, or with Spiced Orange maybe.
Merry Marshmallow Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Meyer Lemon
The fresh zing of lemon is evident in this beautiful Yankee Candle tart and you can expect something bright and sunny. Lemon is associated with cleanliness and purity and if you want a simple aroma this is a nice one to choose. It is great in any room too including the kitchen or bathroom, where lemon is often used in cleaning products and other home fragrance products. The zesty sweetness will complement any home and this is a fragrance I love, either melted alone or combined with Fluffy Towels for a really amazing smell. Because this smells only of lemons, it is great to blend with all kinds of other tarts so get creative with your mixology.
Meyer Lemon Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Midnight Jasmine
Rich, heady, romantic and bold, this is a scent you will either love or hate. I’ve always loved the smell of jasmine so I knew even before smelling it that I would like it. I have some jasmine essential oil and actually this tart smells just like it. Imagine a late night stroll with your date, walking down the moonlit path with the aromatic smell of gorgeous flowers in the distance. That is what jasmine brings to mind for me. If you want a less bold finish, I would suggest melting only half a tart, because I found this one of the strongest of all of them. Neroli, honeysuckle and mandarin blossom also feature, but the jasmine is the strongest scent by far.
Midnight Jasmine Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
MidSummer’s Night
This one is quite masculine, with patchouli, sage and musk blending with mahogany. Gorgeous to the nostrils of both men and women, this one was based on fragrance rather than fruit, flowers or a particular season. If you love the smell of your husband’s cologne or you miss the smell of your father’s or grandfather’s cologne, this MidSummer’s Night tart is one you will want to try, because it will bring all those familiar memories back, adding a gorgeous musky fragrance to your home. When I saw the name I envisioned something floral but actually this one is like a subtle waft of gentleman’s cologne in the air, and I find it really appealing.

Mistletoe
A Christmas scent we all know and love is the smell of mistletoe, and it is sure to bring back gorgeous memories of Christmases past. This fresh, fun, festive scent offers accents of pine boughs, holly and berries along with the mistletoe itself, to surround you with a wonderfully seasonal aroma. It will put you in the mood for Christmas and one sniff of this will probably have you humming Christmas carols as you go about your daily chores. This Yankee Candle Mistletoe tart might not get you any kisses like real mistletoe does but it certainly adds an incredible fragrance to your home and even if it’s not December this one will still bring back lovely holiday memories.
Mistletoe Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Mistletoe & Fig
This one combines mistletoe with figs and evergreen trees, along with a touch of sweetness in the form of vanilla and sugar. Although this one seems to be discontinued, or at least in the process of it, you can still find the tarts online. The Mistletoe Yankee Candle is available, as is the Wild Fig, and you could combine those to make something similar, but this Mistletoe & Fig tart is especially well balanced and soft, meaning it is not just for Christmas but any time you want a charming scent in your home with pine, fig and also a touch of sweetness. This is a feelgood scent which is very subtle and light, but one you are sure to like.

Mountain Lodge
What comes into your mind when considering a mountain lodge – a charming, quiet getaway perhaps, quiet snow falling outside while the sun shines overhead, making everything bright and white. Perhaps you can also imagine the pine smell of the trees all around the lodge. This tart includes sage and cedar wood, the aromas you would get sitting in front of a mountain lodge hearth. This is a cheery and comforting scent, reminding me of a gorgeous mountain vacation. It would be nice in the chillier months but to be honest any time of the year is a good time for these wonderful aromatics.

Napa Valley Sun
The Napa Valley in California is somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit but have not yet (although I’ve been to LA, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and San Diego!) and it brings to mind the image of rolling vineyards with the vines blowing in the breeze and the promise of rich, California wine. Warm vanilla and amber accents in this tart offer a rich, feminine fragrance, teaming the vanilla and amber with musk and sweet grapes – a very special smell indeed. This is not one I would blend with another tart, just because it is so nicely balanced already. I would just melt it by itself because the flavor is perfect just as it is.

North Pole
What does the North Pole smell like? Snow and polar bears you might imagine, but this delicious North Pole tart offers the aromas of sweet vanilla along with ice-cold mint, making it perfect for the winter season when you just want to get snug and cozy and enjoy this time of year for what it is. Like many of these festive tarts it can be hard to find year-round unless you stock up during the winter or buy online, but if you want something wintry, combining the sweet baking scent of vanilla with brisk, cool mint, this one might appeal to you. It’s a little bit like a sweet candy cane, making it a nice choice for the Christmas period.

November Rain
This one is quite masculine and distinctive. I ordered a mixed pack of Yankee Candle tarts and it happened to have 2 of these in, so I melted one right away. It is heady and aromatic with some watery notes in there. I can also detect fresh air and leafy accents. It smells clean and fresh, and I got 2 uses out of it. The smell lingered. I would compare it to fresh soap with an undertone of fall nature. It is one my husband likes. He also likes the sweet ones but they can be cloying. This tart is something that pretty much everybody should like because it is quite neutral and not too strong. I’m glad I ended up with 2 of these.

Ocean Star
The Ocean Star Yankee Candle tart combines lotus blossom, citrus and aloe with a watery undertone to bring you a fragrance which is light, clean and very fresh. It is beachy, breezy and fresh, similar to some of the beach scents but without the wood or warm amber. This one is fresher and more ocean-like. It would be nice in the bathroom or else just to add a fresh aroma to your living room or the kitchen after cooking in there. I find it relaxing in the bedroom as well. Ocean Star is nice by itself or you might want to combine it with Beach Wood to complement the ocean/beach type experience. If you’re not sure which Yankee Candle tart to choose, try this one.

Oceanside
Calm sea air with a touch of citrus is what you can expect from Yankee Candle Oceanside. This one, as you might expect, is lovely and relaxing, and if the prospect of a lovely day at sea makes you feel calm, you should like it. This one is ideal for every room but is especially lovely in the bathroom, perhaps while you are using the tub, just to bring ultimate relaxation your way. Ocean type tarts are some of my favorites and I was very keen to try as many as I could, comparing them. Oceanside is especially nice because it is very simple and doesn’t try to cram too many undertones in there. Apart from the slight salty smell of the air there is just a touch of citrus.
Oceanside Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Over the River
Another nice, relaxing Yankee Candle choice, Over the River brings you sage, amber and oak. It smells fresh and clean, just like a morning stroll by the river on a crisp day. It is a little like November Rain but breezier and softer, offering a slightly masculine cologne-type aroma. I find it calming, breezy and slightly woodsy and really like it actually. Try combining this with another wood-type tart or another nature one perhaps, if you want to add more outdoors dimensions to the overall fragrance. Try this one in the bathroom if you want to add a fresh touch to the air in there. Watery scents are always lovely in the bathroom I find.

Paradise Spice
Rich and creamy, vanilla and banana are evident in this tart, along with cinnamon and cloves. This is a strong, sweet scent which you will either love or hate. If you do like vanilla with fruit undertones and rich, hearty and warm aromas, it should impress you, but if you prefer something softer then maybe not. Personally I really love it. I also like vanilla and creamy scents, along with the bakery ones. If you like the idea of this one but you prefer lighter scents simple melt half a tart rather than a whole one. It will last twice as long that way of course too. If you love the rich heaviness of it then try combining this with Banana Nut Bread or Salted Caramel – yum!

Patchouli
A lot of people adore patchouli, and if you do you really can’t go wrong with this timeless scent. I love mixing it half and half with Vanilla Cupcake. I also mix perfume oil that way too – one part patchouli perfume oil with three parts vanilla perfume oil is heavenly! Anyway, back to this tart, it is not overbearing but the fragrance it offers is very pleasant and it will give your home a lovely smell. This is not the cloying, heavy patchouli smell reminiscent of the 1960s but rather a modern, clean and fresh version which should appeal to nearly everyone. This is a nice one to combine with other tarts to add a distinctive flavor, and also great melted alone.

Peppermint Bark
A seasonal favorite, Peppermint Bark is a blend of peppermint, wintergreen and chocolate, to offer a sweet and aromatic fragrance. If you are looking for something lovely and something that conjures up the image of Christmas and all things fun and festive, Peppermint Bark is a nice choice. It smells like cookies baking and I think the chocolate and minty fragrances contrast and blend perfectly. If you are into bakery type aromas but you are looking for something different, you might like to try this one because it really smells like peppermint bark and will give your home a gorgeous smell that everyone will recognize fondly.

Pineapple Cilantro
This one offers pineapple, cilantro and a little coconut and it smells like an exotic cocktail. You can escape the everyday grind by smelling this tropical fragrance. The contrast is lovely because the cilantro is fresh and herby while the pineapple is rich and syrupy and the coconut adds the tropical tang. Whether it is midsummer or you want to add some summer freshness to your home, Yankee Candle Pineapple Cilantro is a great tart to choose because it is not overpowering but it does set a wonderfully exotic tone. Because I think the scents in this one are well-balanced I probably would not blend this one with another tart because I like it just as it is.

Pink Sands
Everything about Yankee Candle Pink Sands is impressive from the pretty pink color to the warm, uplifting smell. The summertime appeal of this tart will flood your home with a gorgeous aroma. Floral tones meet citrus and vanilla in this heavenly smelling wax tart. It is sweet, relaxing and fresh, and I would imagine it would be a lovely fragrance for a fabric softener for example. Try combining it with a little Coconut Bay to add to the exotic appeal, or just try it by itself because the warm, inviting and gorgeous scent is sure to impress you. It is floral, whimsical and very light, adding a warm, feminine and inviting appeal to your whole home.
Pink Sands Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Pomegranate Cider
This tart is perfect for the fall, blending vanilla, cinnamon and cloves with the tart pomegranate to bring a warm, welcoming aroma to your home. The sweetness of the vanilla contrasts wonderfully with the tart bite of the pomegranate, and the warm spices really liven up the smell and make this ideal for the chillier months of the year. It might also be a nice choice over Christmas if you don’t want something sweet, peppermint-scented or too sweet. This one is unusual but it is nice because of the spices. I like to blend it with vanilla to give it a sweeter edge, but that is just me, and you might like to melt it just by itself.
Pomegranate Cider Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Pumpkin Buttercream
This warm, lovely tart boasts the warm scent of vanilla, juicy pumpkin, and aromatic cloves and cinnamon, to bring you a perfectly balanced aroma for your home. If you are into sweet, fruity scents but you also want a warm spice undertone, you should like this one. It is quite strong and would be a nice choice to melt in the kitchen to get rid of those last garlicky, spicy or other savory kitchen smells. Sniff this and you would swear fall had arrived even if it is warm outside. This rich bakery scent is sure to appeal to everyone in the family and even guests visiting your house will remark on this luscious scent. It lingers well too, I found.
Pumpkin Buttercream Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Pumpkin Ginger Bark
Ginger, pumpkin and sugar come together to fragrance your home with a delicious bakery aroma. This is quite a strong one and the ginger is quite noticeable. A lovely Yankee Candle tart for the fall, Pumpkin Ginger Bark is distinctive and sweet without being too sweet. The ginger adds a lovely warm richness to the overall fragrance of this tart. I have not tried blending it with anything else but I imagine it would be nice blended with one of the vanilla scents or even another bakery one like Banana Nut Bread. If I had to pick out a selection of tarts for the fall, I would definitely count this as one of the most special, inviting ones for this season.

Pumpkin Pie
How do you feel when you inhale the aroma of freshly-baked pumpkin pie? Does it make you smile, make your mouth water and make you feel happy? If so, you are not alone. Yankee Candle Pumpkin Pie teams pumpkin and apple with molasses, nutmeg and cinnamon, so you can expect a wonderful bakery fragrance. This is quite an authentic smell actually and you will be able to pick up the different fragrance accents in there, even a hint of butter pumpkin pie crust. Melt this after cooking savory food in your kitchen to get rid of stale cooking smells and make it smell like a lovely bakery, or try it in the living room to infuse the air with warmth and deliciousness.

Pumpkin Wreath
A welcoming wreath is not only pretty and inviting but also signifies the seasons have changed. This Yankee Candle tart smells not only of pumpkin, but also oak, cinnamon and cloves. The wood, spices and apple enliven it further and this really does smell gorgeous. If you are looking for a nice scent for fall but not necessarily a bakery type scent then consider this one because it is not too sweet and the spices and wood give it a really ‘warm’ touch. This light, woody scent is sure to complement any style of home and it offers a welcoming fragrance for any visitors, signifying the fall has truly arrived and bringing to mind everything good about this wonderful season.

Red Apple Wreath
Smelling like juicy apples, walnuts, maple and cinnamon, this gorgeous festive wreath is perfectly seasonal and is ideal for the fall or winter, adding charm and a welcoming touch to your home. The orchard-fresh aroma of the apples go perfectly with the nuts and spices, to bring you something really well-balanced and inviting. I should imagine this is a scent everyone will agree on, because if you think about it, who doesn’t like the smell of red apples? This scent would work in any room you choose and you could even blend it with Spiced Orange to add a more festive flair to the smell and make it even more Christmas-like.
Red Apple Wreath Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Red Berry & Cedar
Red berries harmonize with cedar wood to bring you a seasonal aroma which fits well into any house. This seasonal tart offers a festive smell which is pleasant and warm. It is quite strong and puts me in the mind of Christmas and the festive season in general. You will be able to smell delicate whiffs of this all over the house and the woody smell will probably remind you of a freshly cut Christmas tree even though it is cedar rather than pine. The combination of tart berries and delicious wood means it is a good fit even for people who usually are not keen on fruity smelling tarts or anything too woody, and it really does smell lovely.
Red Berry & Cedar Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Red Velvet
Red Velvet cake teams a soft, fluffy cake with a gorgeous buttercream frosting and this tart smells just like the delicious cream cake we all know and love. Although retired in Europe you can still get it in the US (and even in Europe online if you’re lucky) and although it is extremely sweet you will find it to be a crowd pleaser because it smells so heavenly. If you are into sweet scents, give Yankee Candle Red Velvet a try and you will definitely agree it smells just like a slice of rich, sweet Red Velvet cake. Even people who aren’t cake eaters will probably enjoy the smell of this because it is sweet, well-balanced and very appealing.
Red Velvet Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
River Valley
I find the aroma of this one very clean and fresh, with oak, amber and sage coming through quite strong, especially the amber. This is a gorgeous scent for any room but especially for the bathroom because it is so fresh and lovely. You could almost be walking a leafy path by the river and if you melt this and close your eyes you might well be able to picture yourself right there with the sun shining on your face and the river meandering slowly by. This is a slightly masculine scent but not overwhelmingly so. I find it very pleasant and gentle. The throw is moderate. It is not one of the strongest but it is strong enough to fragrance the home beautifully.
River Valley Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Sage & Citrus
Sage, lemon, lime and talc unite to make this relaxing tart which is a wonderful choice if you want to unwind and leave the cares of the day behind you. The sage is the main aroma while the other fragrances work as backup to balance it out nicely. Melt this while you are relaxing in the bathtub or choose it if you are having a cozy evening in the home, snuggled up with your significant other. Sage can be stimulating as well as relaxing, making this a nice tart to choose no matter what time of day it is. Clary sage is one of my favorite essential oils, so I knew I would like this one before I even smelled it, and the delicate citrus and talc work well too.
Sage & Citrus Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Salted Caramel
This one is so sweet and gorgeous. When I melted it I could smell it for days afterwards, gently fragrancing the air with its richness. I can smell butter, sugar, and real vanilla caramel too, and it smells really authentic. Even after melting another tart afterwards I am still catching hints of this tart on the air. It is one of the strongest out of all of them I think. It lasts a long time too. I got a few days out of this and the smell never seemed to fade even after a couple days of melting, like some of the milder ones do. This is one of my favorite Yankee Candle tarts. My husband remarked on it when he came home. I think he thought I was baking something yummy!
Salted Caramel Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Sea Coral
You will notice a watery fresh aroma first along with a musky touch. Close your eyes and you can imagine yourself scuba diving or snorkeling, gliding along the reef and seeing the beautiful delicate coral as you pass by. It is light and warm, and suitable for any season of the year, either the spring or summer when the ocean is tempting or even the fall and winter when it is not but you want to be reminded of the wonderful ocean flair. It is a little like Cozy Sweater, feminine and light, but not so strong. You might like to blend Sea Coral with another tart to add some other elements into the mix, else just enjoy its delicate fragrance by itself.
Sea Coral Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Season of Peace
This is light, delicate and relaxing. It is subtle and gentle and a nice one for the winter. It smells quite feminine without being too sweet or too flowery. Cool and enchanting musk notes balance out the other aromas in here. It’s very lovely, and reminds me of cocooning myself in a freshly washed blanked, snuggling up on the couch. I find it really relaxing and uplifting too. It’s a hard one to describe actually, just a blend of freshness, clean aromas, winter snow, a touch of musk and florals and other aromas too gentle and subtle to really pick out as such. It reminds me of Christmas past or a relaxing trip to the snowy mountains perhaps.
Season of Peace Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Silver Birch
This smells like wood and leaves with a masculine cologne undertone which I find very appealing. The hint of pine in there makes me imagine I am in the woods enjoying an autumn walk. It is nice and light, and crisp and clean, making it popular among all kinds of scented tart fans whether you are more into natural fragrances or slightly more unusual ones. This tart would work in any room of the home although I just melt it in the living room mainly, and it adds a pleasant scent to the room. Like other woodsy scents this one reminds me of the fall and if it’s cold outside this is the kind of Yankee Candle scent I naturally gravitate toward.
Silver Birch Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Snowflake Cookie
Feminine, sweet and delicious, this is a nice baking scent offering sugar, coconut and a touch of strawberry in there too. If you like bakery scents or you want to melt something that will put you in mind of walking into your favorite bakery first thing in the morning when the yummy treats are coming out of the oven, choose Yankee Candle Snowflake Cookie because it’s so sweet and gorgeous. If you want to tone down the sweetness a little, you can combine it with another scent or else just melt half. That’s the great thing about these tarts – you can choose your own melting times, quantities and you have lots of mixology options.
Snowflake Cookie Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Soft Blanket
Just like a gorgeous, comforting blanket freshly out of the dryer, this offers all the charm and aroma you would hope for. This really does smell identical to a soothing, gorgeous, fluffy, warm blanket, and I was really impressed with it. Try mixing it half and half with Fluffy Towels or else just melt it by itself. This tart is especially nice in the bedroom and would also be good in the bathroom, although I’ve only melted it in the living room as far as I remember. Our apartment isn’t that big though so fragrances tend to waft into every room. This is one of my top ten Yankee Candle fragrances. It’s just so soft, comforting and soothing.
Soft Blanket Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Sparkling Cinnamon
A touch of cloves blends with the sparkling cinnamon in this incredible tart and it really smells like the holidays have arrived. This is of course a tart for cinnamon fans. To be honest it isn’t one of my favorite scents but that is only because I am not that into cinnamon spice aromas and prefer something more of a bakery scent, perhaps half of this mixed with half a Vanilla Cupcake or Banana Nut Bread tart to create something sweeter and richer, but if you like the smell of pure unadulterated cinnamon, give this one a try, especially during the festive season when it really comes into its own and adds to the festive feeling of that time of year.
Sparkling Cinnamon Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Sparkling Snow
Another enchanting seasonal option, Sparkling Snow brings to mind freshly fallen snow and you will also be able to detect fruit and patchouli in there to add to the lovely fresh aroma. I find it light, sparkling and really inviting, and it is a very wintry tart to choose. This one is quite strong so only melt half if that is an issue for you. It gets rid of cooking smells really well and is also very nice in the bathroom. Despite this being a winter style of fragrance it is a gorgeous one to choose for any time of the year because it is so clean, fresh and lovely. You might like to blend it with another tart or else just enjoy it as it is.
Sparkling Snow Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Spiced Orange
This festive, seasonal tart smells just like the pomanders I used to make at school, studding oranges with cloves and wrapping pretty ribbons around them. I find this a very Christmas-like smell and like it because of that, but it is not a scent I would melt at any other time of the year. I do like festive scents but only during the relevant season. Not everyone agrees of course; that’s just my opinion. This is the kind of fragrance that brings Christmas to mind and it’s warm, fruity and comforting all rolled into one, so if you are looking for something charming and seasonal, try Spiced Orange. It’s been discontinued in some places so see if you can find it.
Spiced Orange Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Spiced Pumpkin
Sweet, ripe pumpkin meets warm spices, and this has been a popular Yankee Candle fragrance since 1988. Clove, cinnamon and nutmeg are apparent when you melt this, along with a rich brown sugar scent. Ideal for the fall or winter, Yankee Candle Spiced Pumpkin offers a gorgeous fragrance which is ideal for any room of the house. A lot of people would say this is their favorite fragrance out of all the tarts. It isn’t in my top ten although yes I do like it. It gets you in the mood for the fall and if you’re feeling a bit depressed because the seasons are changing and summer is coming to an end, melt this Spiced Pumpkin tart and fall in love with the charming smell.
Spiced Pumpkin Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Strawberry Buttercream
Sweet and fruity, this delicious tart offers a gorgeous aroma which will make your house smell like a traditional bakery. I really like this one and if I am in the mood for something sweet but not necessarily as rich as Salted Caramel, this is a nice one to choose and it is good in any room of the house too including the bedroom and kitchen. It is quite good at getting rid of stale cooking smells and will make your kitchen smell like you have been baking every afternoon. If the smell is too strong for you then you could just melt half at a time, or else combine it with something more neutral to balance out the fruity sweetness.
Strawberry Buttercream Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Sugared Apple
Sugary sweet and fruity, the Sugared Apple tart boasts sugar and vanilla accents as well as the tart apple aroma. Perhaps this one will remind you of an exciting trip to the fairground as a child, apple-bobbing at Halloween or another fun time of your life. If you like the smell of apples but you do not necessarily want a cinnamon aroma underlying the fruit, you might like this one because you will be able to smell a sweet apple smell with a little touch of vanilla and that is it, so the smell is simple yet comforting and homely, perhaps like apple crisp baking in the oven. Feel free to blend this with another tart if you do want to add more spice to the fragrance.
Sugared Apple Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Sugared Plums
How festive and gorgeous this one is. The candied fruit smell is authentic and welcoming, and your house will smell like Christmas will all the wonderful bakery aromas you would expect when walking into your local bakery when the goodies are coming out of the ovens. Home for the Holidays is a nice festive one, as is Christmas Eve, but this one is especially sweet and special, and it has been around for years so it must be a very popular choice, especially during December I should imagine. The aroma is less cloying that, for example, Wild Fig, and I find it feminine, sweet yet rich as well. If you are shopping for Yankee Candle tarts for Christmas, consider this excellent one.
Sugared Plums Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Summer Scoop
This is sensationally sweet and reminds me of homemade strawberry ice cream which is bursting with fresh strawberries, rich luxurious cream and the perfect amount of sugar. One sniff and you will be reminded of your favorite strawberry ice cream. This is candy sweet and really feminine. Because strawberry ice cream is such a popular summer scent, this would be a good choice for the summer or even the spring when the weather is turning warmer and you are beginning to dream about long, warm summer days and vacations where eating ice cream is a daily indulgence. Consider mixing this one with Vanilla Cupcake for a super-sweet result.
Summer Scoop Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Summer Wish (A Child’s Wish)
Fresh fields, warm breezes and the gorgeous smell of freshly mown lawns come together with floral aromas in this gorgeous tart. This is a lovely, nostalgic scent which will make you think you are walking through lovely fields in the summertime along with your best friend or partner, sharing secrets and laughs. I adore the smell of this and although I usually melt a different tart every day I had two of these and carried on until every last bit of the scent was gone because it just made me feel so good! I love the nostalgic smell of the grass, flowers and greens. This is one of my favorite fragrances out of all the Yankee Candle wax tart options.
Summer Wish Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Sun & Sand
Lemon, orange, lavender and musk come together to make Yankee Candle Sun & Sand, and this fragrance is tropical and pretty. It smells like the grassy dunes at the back of the beach and you can almost smell the sea crashing on to the sand down at the shoreline. As you might imagine this is a nice spring or summertime scent, designed to make your house smell like it is situated at the top of the beach with the warm breezes blowing in through open windows. The citrus in this tart is not overwhelming but it balances out well with the musk and lavender, to create a pleasant, welcoming, relaxing fragrance which should appeal to just about everybody.
Sun & Sand Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Sunflower
The bright sunny yellow color is your first introduction to Yankee Candle Sunflower and the smell is just as you might imagine. You will be able to smell lovely floral accents as well as a touch of wood and the smell of the summertime. This Yankee Candle tart has a good throw and it reminds me of the summer, when the sun is shining on the garden and the sunflowers are growing tall and proud. I would say this is a feelgood smell which should appeal to most people since it is neither too floral nor too sweet. If you want to combine it with another tart, try True Rose, White Gardenia or another floral option, to enhance the beauty further.
Sunflower Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Sweet Strawberry
Unlike Strawberry Cupcake which offers traces of rich buttercream and warm vanilla, this one is more focused on the pure smell of the strawberry along with a gentle touch of sugar. The smell of gorgeous summer, sunshine-ripened strawberries lingers all day long, even if you only melt the tart for an hour or so. There is nothing not to love as long as you like the smell of strawberries. This one is quite realistic and does not smell fake or chemically. I really like it and I think it would be a nice one to blend with another pure fruit tart, although it is gorgeous by itself and that is the only way I have tried it.
Sweet Strawberry Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Tahitian Tiaré Flower
Similar to sweet gardenias, the intense floral aroma of Tahitian Tiaré Flower is very distinctive and feminine. If you are into floral scents, this is one you should like. It smells like the tropical Polynesia flower it was named after and you will be able to imagine yourself lying on a tropical beach near an exotic garden. This is like an expensive spa smells and the aroma is so appealing and relaxing. Either melt this by itself or team it with another scent, perhaps something delicate like Fresh Cut Roses. If you tend to avoid gardens because of allergies or where you live then choose Tahitian Tiaré Flower and you will be able to smell the wonderful fragrance in your home.
Tahitian Tiare Flower Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
True Rose
This one is quite different from Fresh Cut Roses which offers a light, delicate smell. True Rose is rich and gorgeous and smells like a huge bouquet of romantic red roses. Make your living room smell like there is a big rose bouquet on the table and enjoy the lifelike scent this Yankee Candle tart offers. It really does smell amazing and the smell lingers beautifully just like the aroma of fresh roses. Try it with Lilac Blossoms or with Midnight Jasmine if you want to add another accent to the floral appeal, or consider blending it with Fresh Cut Roses for an added dimension. Anyone who loves the smell of roses is going to enjoy this wonderful tart.
True Rose Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Turquoise Sky
Musk, salty air and sea grass offer a tantalizing trifecta of aromas and you will imagine yourself relaxing on a gorgeous beach on a lovely summer’s day. If you miss Ocean Water which has been discontinued, try this one. It’s not identical but it is pretty similar. It smells beachy and slightly like a gentleman’s cologne. Try blending it with Golden Sands or Beach Walk, or else just enjoy it by itself for a gorgeous scent which promises to fill your home with its luxurious fragrance. I really like Turquoise Sky because it makes me think of the beach and the sea grass is also nice because it reminds me of the grassy sand dunes at a beach I went to as a child.
Turquoise Sky Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Under The Palms
This tropical scent brings to mind palm leaves fluttering in the gentle ocean breeze offering shade to those relaxing underneath, along with a touch of sea grass and even some exotic coconut in there as well. I can smell sunscreen when I melt this one although I suppose that would be the light coconut in there. It is a vacation type aroma which I really love and it is too good to save for the summer. Choose this one on a winter’s day and enjoy the feeling of summertime being just around the corner. Even if it isn’t, you will easily be able to imagine it is. This is a gorgeous, luscious tart which evokes all kinds of fond memories of summertime and summer parties.
Under the Palms Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Vanilla Chai
This tart smells not only of rich, creamy tea but there are also accents of ginger, vanilla and cinnamon. The spice notes are lovely in this Yankee Candle tart and it is a nice choice for any season or occasion. I like this one in the living room although if it is a favorite of yours you might wish to try it in the bedroom just before bedtime to bring a feeling of calm relaxation. I am not always in the mood for scents with cinnamon in, but if I were in that kind of mood I would probably pick something like this with the cream and vanilla accents rather than something where the cinnamon smell was stronger or more overwhelming.
Vanilla Chai Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Vanilla Cupcake
This incredible smell is just like a freshly-baked cupcake topped with beautiful vanilla icing. If I want something sweet, this is one of my go-to scents because it is just so gorgeous – rich, creamy and lemony along with the vanilla. There is nothing I don’t love about Yankee Candle Vanilla Cupcake. The smell can be described as cozy and welcoming and if you happen to be baking bread, have one of these melting in the background to drive your palate crazy and have your home smelling like the most incredible bakery in town! If that sounds like overkill, just melt this by itself for a couple hours and you will be able to enjoy the sweet, buttery vanilla aroma just as it is.
Vanilla Cupcake Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Vanilla Lime
Vanilla is always a popular scent and there are so many ways to blend it. Perhaps you have already tried the Vanilla Satin or Vanilla Cupcake tarts. This one blends vanilla with zesty lime as well as a touch of cane sugar, and the result is lovely. Whether you choose to combine it with another fragrance, such as Baby Powder or Meadow Showers, or melt it by itself, you are sure to find it beautifully balanced and very crisp, clean and pleasant. The sweetness of the vanilla contrasts nicely with the tart zing of the lime to offer something very well-rounded and this is a scent which would suit any room in the home, even the bathroom or kitchen.
Vanilla Lime Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Vanilla Satin
A scent for vanilla lovers, Vanilla Satin offers not only the rich, sweet, warm vanilla you would expect from such a tart, but also lovely, woody notes of sandalwood plus romantic flowers. This is quite a feminine scent and it is also quite heady so choose it if you are in the mood for something gorgeous and feminine without having a heavy floral type tart melting. This one is smooth and gorgeous and I knew I would like it as soon as I heard the name. It is more sophisticated than Vanilla Cupcake and richer than Vanilla Lime, so if you love vanilla and indulgent aromas, pick this one because it is so nice.
Vanilla Satin Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Vineyard
The rich scent of summertime vines bowing under the weight of sweet, heavy grapes is what you get when you choose Yankee Candle Vineyard. Fruity, gorgeous and pleasant, this is an appealing scent for any season or occasion. It smells like a freshly uncorked bottle of fine red wine – heady and luscious. The aroma is quite strong but it isn’t overwhelming at all; rather you will get more than a couple of days from just one tart. If you do have allergies, asthma or similar though, just melt half a tart because it is strong enough to do that. You will get twice the value doing that too. Combine this with Waikiki Melon or Sweet Strawberry to add another fruit to the mix.
Vineyard Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Waikiki Melon
Tropical, fun and exotic, this one reminds me of summer vacations. Lovely sweet melon combines with a touch of sweet orange to bring you this tropical aroma which is bound to fill your home with a lovely fruity scent. Sweet without being overbearing or too strong, this is a pleasant scent which is nice for the spring or summer, or you could even melt it during the winter to bring a touch of summer into your home. The aromatic, syrupy smell is just like a freshly sliced cantaloupe melon. The throw is good with Waikiki Melon and you will get hints of it in other rooms near the room where you chose to melt it. I like the sweet fruity smell of this tart.
Waikiki Melon Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Wedding Day
Although this does not smell like my wedding day (because I had different flowers) I can see (well, smell) why it is so-named. Delicate floral aromas combine with a soft fruity undertone to bring you a sophisticated, elegant and special aroma that will put you in a nice, romantic mood. It smells to me like gardenia and lilies which tend to be strong flowers but they are slightly muted here so the tart is fresh and lovely rather than overwhelming. I found this to be a very light fragrance which I couldn’t smell really at the end of the day, or at least not much, but if you want something romantic, delicate and light, then it might be a good fit for you.
Wedding Day Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
White Christmas
This festive tart blends evergreen, wood and a subtle air/water tone to bring you something soft, quiet and refreshing. It puts me in mind of falling snow and I really like it although it is very delicate instead of strong. If you prefer unassuming, delicate fragrances without much of a throw, choose this one because you will get something very light and special. Not everyone likes the strong aromas so if that sounds like you try Yankee Candle White Christmas to fragrance your home gently and subtly. Perhaps combine this one with another festive fragrance if you want to liven it up. Spiced Orange or Christmas Eve would be a good match.
White Christmas Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
White Gardenia
If floral fragrances are beloved to you, you are sure to like White Gardenia because it is rich, heady and gorgeous. I love this one, either melted by itself or blended with Fresh Cut Roses. For a really floral, heady scent, consider mixing it with Midnight Jasmine. I do really like the smell of White Gardenia and feel it would be a nice aroma to choose for any season or occasion. Perhaps have it gently melting in the background if you are cooking a special dinner for your significant other or melt it in the bathroom while you are taking a hot, relaxing bath. This is one of my favorites and it is a tart I am always keen to choose.
White Gardenia Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Wild Fig
The Yankee Candle Wild Fig tart smells rich and fruity and a lot like sweet figs. It is seasonal because of this. This is not the only fig scent. You also have Mistletoe & Fig although that is of course designed for Christmas whereas this one would work whenever you wanted to melt something rich, sweet and fruity. Although fruity scents are perhaps not my favorite this one was not bad. It is not one I would get again because it is quite strong and sweet but if you do like the smell of plump, juicy figs, I am sure you would like it, or you could even blend it with another type of tart for a different result. It might be nice with Spiced Orange or with Christmas Eve perhaps.
White Fig Yankee Candle Tart Wax Melt
Winter Garden
Do you like Christmas tree scents? If so this one might captivate you. Combining soft water and air aromas with pinewood and light florals, Winter Garden offers a beautiful aroma for your home. It smells of pine, evergreen and delicate icy flowers and is perfect for the winter. This scent is not always available but if you do spot it get hold of it and you are sure to enjoy the lovely, smooth, wintry aroma it gives your house. You can nearly hear the sleigh bells and feel the frost on your skin. This is a wintry scent which is crisp, fresh and gorgeous, although it is very soft and delicate as well, so a winning scent all in all.
